GHETTO BMX will be a new space in the Pedal It shop in Lee, supplying BMX supplies to South East London.

Pedal It is a local, family run business, stocking Hybrid, Road, Folding, children's and new & second-hand bikes.

The Ghetto Shed is designed to be a chill out space within the shop where young people can come and hang out, play a computer game, or share their love for BMX, buy new parts or come as a complete beginner and find a new passion.

 

As a teenager, BMX gave Jamie a discpline & passion in his life and he's keen to share this with the young people in the local community, to get them interested in riding/skating. The shop will be involved in hosting regular jams at local skate parts including Horn Park, Kidbrooke & Ladywell.

The Ghetto Shed will have a strong ethos of community & comradery that Jamie has picked up from the skate parks that he grew up in; which is shared by the team at Pedal It.

The emphasis will be on young people teaching each other new skills and coming together in a positive way to share a passion.
